The pool in summertime is a delicious and refreshing oasis during the warmer days of Summer in Seattle.
The dining room is the place to be in the morning to meet the other guests over a delicious selection of homemade scones, jams, coffee and fresh fruit. The living rooms with fireplaces make it relaxing and romantic. The entry is a grand welcome to a friends home. The rooms are all well appointed and clean. The stunning craftsman house is warm and welcoming. The Capitol Hill location is terrific for a leisurely or business stay. Take your Seattle trip up a notch and stay at the Gasslight Inn. My husband and I could not have been more pleased.
Steve even gave us suggestions as to which ferry to take the next day to Victoria Island. All we saw and did was within walking distance and in a safe neighborhood. Maps and directions, for what we tourists wanted to see, were carefully marked with suggestions of what the innkeepers thought we should see. Steve and Jim are gracious hosts who make their guests feel like they have been friends forever. Tastefully remodeled, it was not only large but had thick resort towels and linens, and also the owners' signature on herbal soaps, shampoos,etc The kitchen, sitting room and bedroom were spacious, comfortable and very CLEAN, as well as tastefully decorated.
The bathroom was like walking into a spa.
